Denoyer Geppert Globe WWII
A Fantastic example of an ART DECO U.S. Military, Aviation Aeronautical Globe made by Denoyer Geppert! Used for training in the U.S. military. A very rare, early 1930's, production model with black continents and gray water. This early model has a double bar half-moon, which holds the sphere. Sphere is made of spun steel, 20" diameter, circumference 51”, heavy base measures 11" across, and bares the manufacturers name on the bottom. Stands about 26 inches tall. Great Patina -no dents or missing parts.
