Overall Condition: For an item of 100 plus years old, it is in great condition. The lock has an old original repair but is in good working order (No Key). 

Outside The stenciled monogram is crisp and the brass hardware is clean. both side latches are tight. 

Inside red felt lining shows more wear but is still in good shape for its age. The small leather pully on the pen holder is original and in place.
