Vintage folding screen By Eileen Gray

A vintage and rare folding screen by Eileen Gray. Made of heavy solid wood Panels, works perfectly.

Condition: Noticeable signs of use, scratches and marks.

Eileen Gray was one of the leading designers working in Paris after WWI. Gray was responsible for perfecting the art of laquered furniture, she favoured exotic materials with clean smooth finishes, like those used in Japanese decorative arts. In her earlier designs, it was apparent that she had a fascination with moving parts much like the folding screen featured here. Clearly an amazing and collectable piece, it would make an amazing  decorative addition.
