ANTIQUE RARE circa 1918 World War One Wooden Airplane Propeller... 12 feet long...Two tone layers of the wood. Brass metal tips and leading edges. Markings on the hub "Mercedes D.IVa hp 260 1400 29647" "29647" as well... German aircraft propeller, either a counter rotating propeller or a pusher propeller. Two aircrafts that would have this engine and pusher propeller combination as well as being significant enough in size to use such a large propeller... German Gotha G.IV Bomber and the Straaken R.VI Bomber...The propeller is in good condition with age wear, dings, and small scrapes...Refinished. A very unusual, beautiful and extremely rare propeller that would be a centerpiece to any aviation collection.
